HI, I'M MARISON!
I first started my yoga practice when I was 17. At that time, I went to weekly hot yoga classes with friends and practiced at home with online videos. Ever since then, yoga has remained a grounded point in my life, always with me through the many life stages I have been through since then. During my time in college, I practiced regularly at the university gym or one of the studios on the square of the town I lived in. I was practicing mostly vinyasa and yin in those years. My practice grew so much and I knew that I would eventually have to do a yoga teacher training!
In January 2020, I started my training at a cozy, eclectic little studio in east Dallas, Super Yoga Palace. The two months I spent in that studio gave me some of the most treasured memories and friendships. We focused on a wide variety of yoga styles in training. I received my RYT 200 certification at the beginning of March 2020, right at the onset of Covid-19 regulations. My hope was to jump into the world of teaching, but that was put on hold. Instead, I continued practicing certain styles that I had grown to love in yoga school in all of my quarantine free time, namely Ashtanga, Hatha, and KatonahⓇ. I also began teaching privates via Zoom and teaching my family.
I am now excited to finally fully step into the teaching world. I hope to practice with you soon!

1:1 PRIVATES AND GROUPS
I offer privates via zoom or in person if you feel comfortable. Each private session will be 60 minutes at a rate of $50. In a private, we can explore your personal practice at a deeper level and work on postures or flows fitting for you and your preferences. Private groups are perfect for birthday parties, bacholerette parties, wedding mornings, etc. Contact me for rates.

BILINGUAL YOGA NIDRA
Monday @ 8:30 pm
In Yoga Nidra, we will dip into deep levels of consciousness, floating between being awake and dreamland, in both English and Spanish. Don't let the use of two languages keep you from joining - your intuitive self will take over and know what to do! This practice is best done wearing warm loose fitting clothing. Bring any blankets, pillows or props to help you feel fully comfortable and supported.
KATONAH INSPIRED HATHA

KatonahⓇ is a method that inspires me constantly. It is a practice that brings together hatha yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, sacred geometry, magick and metaphor. Join me to move your body in a refreshing way based in time, space, and theory.
